Living in Northern California

How has my life been the past few years? In a nutshell, loving the place I’m living in. Gone are the days when you would have to travel far, just to see decent sights and sounds.

Loving the place am living in, North California

Scenic view of the North California coast

Northern California is pure natural wonder. A lovely cohesion of both technology and science, mixed with glitz and glamour. Every morning is captured by the breathtaking sights of the San Francisco Bay area and beyond. Who would have thought that years back, we were just driving to one of our cousin’s new place when out of the blue, we spotted a perfect house over in Oakland. Now who would have thought that Oakland real estate could be so attractive? We never imagined living the life we’re living now. Family trips were too exhausting to plan and difficult to fit into the schedule. Now, you can simply hop on your car, and head on to your weekend vacation or just-cause-vacation. If you desire frolicking under the sun as you watch as the hue of colors of the sand intermingle with the turquoise waters, then head to Half Moon bay, Monterey or Santa Cruz. Enjoy the water sports adventure- kayaking, surfing, snorkeling or diving, it’s your choice. If you want to chill and crave for snow head east to Yosemite. Fancy a nature trip even with a limited time, now you can- experience a breathtaking view of Sonoma, take the Overlook Trail that is within walking distance from the center of Sonoma. Whether you hike for the spectacular view, for health purposes or for recreation, there are good selections in Sonoma. If that doesn’t satisfy you, you can check the national monument of Muir woods , Mendocino Forests or even the Palisade glaciers. I can go on and on, but the same fact is, Northern California is a delectable delight for all sorts of interests or tastes. A friend of mine just moved in a month ago, just a few blocks away from our place. He just started working as an IT Engineer at Emeryville and fell in love with how accessible it is to the great hiking trails of Oakland and Berkeley hills. Now, he understands what I’ve been raving about all these years, he’s loving the place he’s living in. Check it out for yourself, and believe me, you’ll fall in love with it too.
